| The above lines from the song ”I have a dream” by Abba are very meaningful. Over the years, under a very calculated plan, people in emerging countries like Pakistan, have been stripped of their dreams. The dreams that give someone the strength to cope with life’s difficulties and uncertainties. The dreams that give someone the courage to try, “to take the future even if you fail”.
With the power to try, to attempt, to believe, taken away from a people, they turn on each other. They start blaming others for their failures and apathy. People start seeing nothing but bad in everyone, and in everything. If “I believe in angels, Something good in everything I see”. The lack of dreams takes away the light of the angels, and drowns the whole existence in the darkness of frustration, and despair. In this hopelessness we forget the simple truth that “We have the power to rewrite our destiny”. All we need is to Dream A Fantastic Dream. Typical Duration: 90 minutes + Q&A |
