A career for life

One of the most important decisions we make in our lives is about our career. It’s a gamble. We go to universities to study for many years, hoping we’ll come out successful professionals.  Some of us actually do.  However, we don’t always realize what really makes those select few “successful”. We feel that is their expertise or book knowledge of their professions like law, medicine, engineering, or art.  This is far from reality.  Almost as important as your knowledge of your profession, is your attitude towards life.  In today’s time sciences and trends change  at an unprecedented pace.  Jobs disappear, and all your life plans can come to crossroads which offer you choices you never went to school for.

It is very important to be good at what you do.  However, it is just as important to be able to change your course, and alter your life plans, whenever life needs you to do that.  What is that skill that enables you to go through a lifetime of altering courses, and yet be successful and a high achiever?

To understand this answer, one must understand the real purpose of “education”.

This lecture, specifically designed for students of all ages and levels, gives them the key to an effective, flexible, and successful “career”.
